In January of 2017, he released his new album as a leader, "New Things, Same Words" (GLEAM Records) recorded in quartet along with Emanuele Coluccia (tenor and soprano saxophones), Stefano Rielli (doublebass) and Alex Semprevivo (drums).
With this album confirms and evolves his style, affirmed in the first album and wins for the second time the label Jazzit Likes! by JAZZIT magazine.
